Guts in Motion is a Paris to London cycle ride that is held every July to raise money to fund research into greater understanding and treatments for Crohns disease and colitis. The ride takes place over three days and is open to riders of all levels who are up for a personal challenge. Since starting in 2010 the event has raised over £500,000.00, every penny of which has gone directly into research programs at leading hospitals and universities.
The ride is a great opportunity to meet new people and spend a weekend cycling through fabulous countryside in France and England. The ride is fully supported with route signage, accommodation, rest stops, mechanics and encouragement all taken care of. The only thing we asked of our riders is to use the opportunity to raise funds for our charity and find out more about the work that we support.
All funds raised go directly to our charity, Crohns & Colitis in Childhood (UK registered #1000648). The cost of the event is covered through the generous support of our corporate sponsors, which means that every penny you raise goes into funding research. The event and the charity are staffed completely through volunteers; no overheads and no costs; which means you make a real difference with every donation.
